Mejillones

Greenshell Mussels are native to New Zealand and one of the highest rated sustainable seafoods in the world. They grow on suspended lines above the seabed in the Marlborough Sounds, Stewart Island and Tasman Bay. Greenshell Mussels are tender, sweet in taste, and have an excellent visual appeal for culinary use in hotels, restaurants and other foodservice lines. Given they are filter feeders, they take all the nutrients from the water and require no additional substances, providing meat rich in iron, Omega 3, and protein.
